Teach your children well

When I look at the world today, I wonder why things have so drastically changed since I was a child. The crime rate has soared, drugs are running rampent in our neighborhoods, and the family unit has all but desolved. I can't recall one home in my neighborhood that didn't have a full parental unit. There was a Father and Mother in every home that I frequented. There were no children faced with having to explain to his or her classmates why they had two moms or two daddies. Then I realized why things have changed. Our schools broke away from teaching morals and started teaching acceptance. Our government started passing laws that went against the commandments of God. Our parents were bound from disciplining their children by our local and federal governments. We have actually been forbidden to carry on the traditions of our father Abraham. We have only about five hours a day with our children, because of the laws our government has passed concerning education. Now those five hours we have, are intruded upon by two or three hours of homework. Is this accidental? I say no! I say it is an attack on anything pure and good that the family stands for. It is an attack by liberal thinkers who say that we must accept those "vermin" God calls abomnible. I decided to look through the scriptures to see what God says about our children, and what I found, scares the hell out of me. We have totally forgotten our children because of the family breakdown, and now the next generation will even be more confused, more liberal, and more abomnible than the ones that just reached adulthood. You think it's bad now? Just wait! In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses reviews the commandments. Starting in Chapter 6, let's look at what was said: Deuteronomy 6:6-7. 6And these "words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7And thou shalt "teach them diligently (shaw-nan' "-to point or pierce") unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down. and when thou risest up. Notice he says always to teach these commandments. To "pierce" their hearts with them. The reason being is that there is a strong force on this earth that we battle with every day. There is so much evil in the world, that everytime our children leave the sanctity of their homes, they are bombarded with the lies of Satan and his teachers. If we "embed" the morals and values of God into our children, they are like a shield which the lies cannot penetrate. Proverbs promises us this. 22-6 6Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. The greatest gift I was ever given, was to be entrusted with the care of one of Gods little babes. To see this new life come into this world, has changed me forever. I was overcome with a love that I had never felt, or will ever again feel. This precious gift is given to most of us, and we need to realize what a great responsibility it is. We need to realize how Jesus felt about the children. Luke 18:1515And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his desciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16But Jesus called them unto him, and said, suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Then Jesus Christ gives us a warning that all of us must remember. Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believeth in me,it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Jesus Christ tells us that if we offend, or lead into sin one of these children, we have to answer for it. That means all these liberal teachers, all these Senators, Congressmen, even Presidents who force sin and lies upon our children, will answer to a higher court later. But, just think what our penalty will be as parents if we don't obey the words Moses spoke in Deuteronomy. That is our childs shield against the lies of the world. We can't change the way the world turns, but we can change the thinking of our children and we can change the way our home is laid out. We can instill the values of God in our hearts and teach them to our children. "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven". What I'm trying to say here is, don't follow the world. Don't let fear of evil doers and liberal thinkers stop you from doing what is in the best interest of you children. Don't let the unmoral school agenda get you down and engulf your childs mind. You are the one that has the right and the power given by God to teach your child. So, "Teach your children well".

I pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Peace be to your homes.
