When the apostle Paul set up the church in Corinth, he gave specific
instructions on how this was going to work. But as seen in the first letter, there were problems. 1COR1:11 For it hath been
declared unto me of you my bretheren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
You see as soon as Paul left, the Corinthians started arguing about how the church was to be ran, and what should
be taught. Paul told them what was. 1COR2:1-2 And I, bretheren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of
wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
How can there be divisions over something so easy to understand? Is this what the churches today preach? I think
not!
You have one faith who professes to follow Christ, they even have his name in their title. But you go to church
on Sunday, and their teachers teach of a prophet. Christ is hardly mentioned. Even during testimonies you hear about
how thankful they are for the prophet. The hymn book even sings praises for the prophet. When the leadership gets together
for their long awaited sermons, most of it is thanks to the prophet and the church.
You have another faith that bows down to a human and worships him. They even, right in the open, disobey the
4th commandment and not one of their followers sees it, or cares. Thou shalt not make unto thee ANY GRAVEN IMAGE,OR ANY LIKENESS
OF ANYTHING THAT IS IN HEAVEN ABOVE, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou SHALT
NOT BOW DOWN THYSELF TO THEM, nor serve them: for I the lord God am a jealous God...Exodus20:4-5
Every time I read this I picture a beautiful cathedral with people walking up to an image(ststue) of Christ
and bowing down to it. Then bowing to an image(statue) of Mary.
But, one of the most disturbing thigs is something almost every faith has taken upon itself to incorporate into
their services. That is the sacrement, or communion.
This is so plain, and easy to understand. Everyone knows about the Lords Supper, which is what communion is
suppose to be based on. Why do none question this practice in church?1COR20-27 When ye come together therefore into one place(church),
this is not to eat the Lords supper. For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is is hungry, and
another is drunken. What? have ye not houses to eat and drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have
not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. For I have recieved of the Lord that which also
I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks,
he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in rememberance of me. After the same
manner also he took the cup, which he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament of my blood: this do ye, as oft as
ye drinkit, in rememberence of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lords death till
he come.
How can a religion justify the sacrement within their walls.
I will be back next month with more. Untill then, peace to your homes and families.
